In nature, yellow is the color of daffodils and sunflowers, SIGNALING the advent of spring, bringing hope, optimism, and enlightenment.
In America, yellow has been weaponized against Asians as the color of xenophobia.
The Yellow Whistle™ is a symbol of self-protection and solidarity in our common fight against historical discrimination and anti-Asian violence. The whistle is a simple gadget with a universal purpose—to signal alarm and call for help—for
all Americans.
We shall not remain silent, because
WE BELONG™.

WE BELONG™
The Yellow Whistle™ campaign will officially launch on April 19, 2021 National Patriots’ Day. We encourage all supporters to show solidarity on this day by wearing The Yellow Whistle™ and posting an image of The Yellow Whistle™ and THE link to this website on their social media.
In 1775, patriots rang bells to alarm the APPROACH of King George’s TROOPS on the eve of April 19. This historic event signaled the beginning of America’s fight for independence against tyranny and is commemorated every year as the National Patriots’ Day.
On April 19, 2021, we ask all Americans to whistleblow and sound alarm on the historical tyranny of racism.

IN THE PRESS
“At the Citywide PIP, I was given 100 yellow whistles by Dr. Pei and delivered by Alice. I distributed some to the guests attending Tuesday May 11, 2021. It was a great awareness campaign of what is going on and opened the conversations to attendees about the yellow whistle, this led to great community engagement and dialogue with one on one with guests.”
— Senior Police Officer Don Vo, Asian Community Liaison, Houston Police
